Abstract

This research is entitled” A Study on the use of Facebook in English Learning by grade eight students of state junior high school 6 Penfui Kupang Regency”. This research aims to determine the benefits of using Facebook as an English learning medium for grade 8 students. This research uses quantitative research methods with a sample of 10 students. The research results show that using Facebook can increase learning motivation, expand opportunities to practice English, and improve students' communication skills. In addition, the use of Facebook can also facilitate interaction between students and teachers, as well as allowing access to a wider range of learning resources. This research concludes that the use of Facebook can be an effective learning medium for grade 8 students in acquiring English language skills.
